Before lighting, trim the wick to 1/4" (scissors work just fine, or use a wick trimmer!) for a long-lasting burn and to prolong the life of your candle.

Always allow the wax to melt to the edges of the vessel with each burn. This is especially important on the first burn as it prevents "tunneling" in your wax!

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Do not place your candle on or near flammable materials such as drapes, papers, etc. - to prevent heating up any surfaces, place your candle on a coaster.

Never leave a candle burning for longer than 4 hours, and keep in a well ventilated area.

When your candle wax reaches 1/4-1/2" from the bottom, discontinue burning with a candle snuffer and discard the remaining wax.

When you're done with your candle, reuse the vessel! Turn it into a planter, or even use it as a cocktail glass.
